White River Credit Union focuses on better user experience for its members through website update
Standing out in a cluttered field of giant corporate banks and national credit unions is critical for community-based White River Credit Union. WRCU recognized the need to provide a better user experience on their website when results from a member survey exposed a lack of awareness of all of their remote banking tools and how to access them. It became especially critical to showcase their virtual banking capabilities when COVID-19 hit.
The Outmark® web design and development team and White River CU worked together to develop a new sitemap that was easier to navigate. We created separate “Virtual Banking Tools” and “Resources” sections and reorganized their site into “Save,” “Borrow,” and “Plan” categories. As an ongoing project, we help WRCU continue to build engaging, relevant, and optimized content to support the site, in addition to promoting its virtual banking capabilities via social media and ads.
