Last summer, I took my mom to Wendy’s for lunch with my kids. Believe it or not, it was the first time she’d been there. Hold the ‘heavy hitter’ and ‘great son’ comments — it was her idea.
Anyway, after we sat down for our gourmet meal, there was a bit of a stir near the entry as a few people snapping digital photos like the one above (only the people were much better looking).
It’s a simple idea, really, but it worked. Though we were there during off hours nearly everyone that walked through their doors made a face at the person they were with or commented about it. A sticker on a window was creating quite a buzz.
Simple ideas creatively executed are pretty powerful stuff, aren’t they?
The sticker I liked. The service–not so much. I had to purchase bottled water because this particular Wendy’s ran out of cups.
Have you seen creativity in action lately? I’d love to hear about it.
